Stroppy Mums of the UK – here is a good opportunity to get some free training on how to be effective in lobbying Parliament. Or at least how Parliament works so you can be effective in lobbying. Get Involved – In Legislation
The Houses of Parliament’s Outreach Service & Involve Yorkshire and Humber are running four workshops in July on how Parliament scrutinises and passes proposed legislation – and the opportunities for groups and individuals to get involved!
The workshops will cover:
- · The Queens Speech 2012
- · Parliament’s process for passing a law
- · Different types of Bill (proposed laws)
- · How you can track the progress of Bills
- · Opportunities to get involved in the parliamentary process
They will take place at:
